Luftbild, Nordsee, Amrum, Wittduen, Nebel, Kniepsand, Rummelloch | Die Ostküste von Amrum grenzt an das Wattenmeer der Nordsee und ist geprägt von einer Vielzahl von Landschaftsformen und Schutzgebieten. Sie erstreckt sich entlang der Uferlinie an der Wattseite der Insel und ist Teil des Naturschutzgebiets Amrumer Ostküste. Dieses Gebiet liegt im Osten der Insel und umfasst die gesamte Ostküste, wobei die Ortschaften Norddorf, Nebel, Süddorf und Steenodde überwiegend im Osten der Insel liegen. Die Ostküste ist auch Teil des Landschaftsschutzgebiets Amrum, das die gesamte Insel ohne Siedlungsbereiche und Naturschutzgebiete umfasst.
